Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to support the Nurse Manager in maintaining clinical quality, safety, and service excellence. You will function as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse on your assigned unit, stepping in as leadership as delegated.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, meeting BSD/BSN standards, BLS requirements, and Texas RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 3 years of nursing experience.
• Lead/relief charge duties as needed on unit.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in driving clinical quality, safety, and service.

Job Purpose

• In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding nursing position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) role is to assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service. This role functions as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse as needed on his/her assigned unit and assumes a nursing leadership role as delegated by the Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Licenses and/or Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
• National certification in specialty area, or will obtain within one year or minimal amount of time that requirements can be met

Work Experience:

• 3 years of nursing experience
