Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in delivering high-quality care, safety, and service excellence. This leadership role will guide a multidisciplinary team on the assigned unit and may serve as staff nurse or relief charge nurse as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is BLS certified, possesses a current Texas nursing license, and has at least 3 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
• National certification in specialty area, or will obtain within one year or minimal amount of time that requirements can be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service.
• Function as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse as needed on the assigned unit and assume a nursing leadership role as delegated by the Nurse Manager.

Job Purpose

• In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding nursing position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) role is to assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service. Job Requirements:

Education:
