Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in delivering high-quality, safe patient care. The role will function as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse and lead on the assigned unit as directed by the Nurse Manager.

Requirements include a BSN, Texas RN license, BLS, and a clear path to national certification in specialty area or plan to obtain within a year; at least 3 years of nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• National certification in a specialty area, or plan to obtain within 1 year.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in leading the unit to excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service.
• Serve as staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse on the assigned unit as needed.
• Provide nursing leadership delegated by the Nurse Manager.
