Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required (AHA).
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience in a related setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager with daily unit operations, staffing, patient flow and resource assignment.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and support to nurses and staff across shifts.
• Assist with staff coaching, onboarding, competency development and performance feedback.
• Monitor patient safety, quality indicators, and compliance with hospital policies.
• Serve as a resource for staff in managing complex patient care needs and family issues.
• Promote communication and collaboration among nursing, providers, lactation, education and other teams.
