Job summary

Texas Health Huguley is seeking a registered nurse for night shift leadership in a high-acuity, acute care setting. You will perform venous access procedures, administer infusion therapies, and tailor care plans to patient needs.

You will supervise other nurses, provide performance feedback, and help maintain clinical standards while contributing to a faith-based healing mission across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• 1+ year charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ year RN acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shift: 7:00pm–7:00am; venous access procedures within RN scope.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff, provide feedback and conduct appraisals.

Job Description: Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs. Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance. Monitor performance of nursing staff, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to ensure clinical and professional standards are met.
