Job summary

Texas Health Huguley is hiring registered nurses for night shift to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care. Grow professionally through a Clinical Ladder program and advance your career while earning up to 20% salary increases based on eligibility and performance.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN license, and 1+ year of medical-surgical experience. Evening hours run 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing required.

  • 1+ year medical-surgical experience required.
  • RN license and CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Schedule: 3:00 PM -11:00 PM

  • Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance.
  • Advocate for patient safety by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to patients and their families during recovery.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent interpersonal skill set, demonstrating compassion and respect to patients and family undergoing stressful procedures and treatments.
