The Assistant Perioperative Nurse Manager will support surgical services at a well-appointed, 200-bed acute care hospital. Modern operating suites, sophisticated equipment, and closely coordinated perioperative processes allow the department to respond effectively to a wide range of surgical needs. Service lines include bariatric, colorectal, ENT, general, neurosurgery, open-heart, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastic, robotic, urology, and vascular surgery. Thoracic and cardiovascular procedures further enhance the hospital's comprehensive surgical program. Reporting to the OR Nurse Manager and working closely with the OR Nurse Director, the Surgery Assistant Nurse Manager will help coordinate daily operations, staffing assignments, workflow, regulatory readiness, quality initiatives, and patient safety activities. This leader will coach and support operating room nurses, reinforce staff education, assist with resource management, and promote evidence-based perioperative standards. The Assistant OR Nursing Manager will partner with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technicians, educators, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Through visible leadership and hands-on support, this role will strengthen employee engagement, operational consistency, and continuity of care across the surgical experience.
