Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to support our outpatient Oncology & Infusion Services across Hartford and Glastonbury, CT. The role leads nursing teams, ensures safe, high‑quality patient care, and advances clinical practice in a busy cancer center.

The position requires BSN, CT RN license, and 3+ years of nursing experience, with preferred leadership and oncology/infusion expertise. Day shift, full-time hours, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Competenze

• Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.
• BSN required.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• Oncology/infusion/outpatient experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse/Lead RN/Leadership experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic or other EMR systems preferred.

Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) – Oncology & Infusion Services

Locations: Hartford & Glastonbury, CT
Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours | Days

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to support our growing Outpatient Oncology & Infusion Services team across Hartford and Glastonbury, Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity for an oncology nurse leader who is ready to advance their career while helping drive exceptional patient outcomes, team engagement, and operational excellence.

As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to support day-to-day operations of our outpatient cancer and infusion centers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care for oncology and hematology patients.

What You'll Do

• Support daily clinical operations, staffing, and patient flow across multiple outpatient oncology and infusion locations.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
• Oncology, infusion, ambulatory, or outpatient specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Prior Charge Nurse, Lead RN, Preceptor, or Leadership experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems preferred.

Pay Range: $44.05 - $70.50 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
