Qualifications

• English language proficiency required by VA handbook.
• RN license in good standing with a U.S. state or territory.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ADN/ Diploma or BSN).
• Licensure validation for foreign education if applicable.
• Bridge program pathway applicants may be considered.
• Formal degree equivalency validation for foreign education may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drafting schedules and leave for NM approval.
• Provide input into staff performance evaluations by NM.
• Assist with candidate selections for employment.
• Apply clinical knowledge to lead staff in planning and decision-making.
• Oversee assignments and provide reports to NM for disciplinary actions.
• Engage in direct patient care up to 20 hours per week or as required by operations.
