Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree required; BSN preferred; Graduate Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience; nursing leadership preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in NC required; NC curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire required; unit/dept certifications.
• Additional Skills: Leadership education and training; skills validation and competency testing completed.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a leader on the units as well as supporting all clinical staff.
• Assist with scheduling, educational trainings, coachings, creating new initiatives, etc.
• Support the Manager and other leadership personnel to foster unit prosperity.
• Work closely with all staff to improve skills and support of patients.
• Provide collaborative work with interpersonal teams and communicate effectively across all team members.
• Assist with any audits within the units.
• Serve as a liaison and supportive leader for families served on the units.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
• Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
