Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to partner with the Nurse Manager in delivering clinical quality, safety, and service excellence. The ANM will function as a staff nurse and relief charge nurse on the assigned unit and assume a nursing leadership role as delegated.

Requirements include BSN, Texas RN license, BLS certification, and national certification in a specialty area (or plan to obtain within one year).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS Certification, American Heart Association.
• National certification in specialty area, or plan to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in achieving excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service.
• Serve as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse on the assigned unit as needed.
• Lead nursing practice and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Job Purpose

• In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding nursing position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) role is to assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service. Job Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Licenses and/or Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
• National certification in specialty area, or will obtain within one year or minimal amount of time that requirements can be met

Work Experience:

• 3 years of nursing experience
