Providence in Kodiak, AK is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to oversee clinical and operational activities on the assigned shift, using the nursing process to support the unit director.

The ANM will ensure staffing, quality metrics, and staff development, while providing managerial presence across all shifts. Requirements include BS/BSN, Alaska RN license, and BLS from American Heart Association; preferred acute care, leadership, and Shared Governance experience.

The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from School of nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Shared Governance experience.

Pay Range: $62.90 - $99.31. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
