Institute for Family Health seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee a designated patient care area, ensuring safe, patient-centered outcomes. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care processes, technology, personnel, and facility needs while providing leadership in the Nurse Manager's absence.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, coordinating ER referrals, and maintaining nursing policy adherence.

Formación

• BS in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical setting (ambulatory care a plus).
• Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Current BCLS.
• Current Infection Control.
• Current Child Abuse Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Implements patient care activities in conjunction with the Nurse Manager and health care team.
• Assists in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing care and suggests improvements.
• Monitors selection and use of unit supplies, technology and equipment.
• Ensures staff are informed of center developments and participates in area planning.
• Leads leadership and care team meetings and maintains minutes.
