This Asst Nurse Manager Amb position supervises nursing and non-licensed staff, oversees scheduling, payroll, and throughput, and participates in performance improvement to ensure high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in CT and BLS certification.
• Other certifications may be required by specialty.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and healthcare administration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned area and supervise nursing staff.
• Manage resources, payroll, and colleague schedules.
• Monitor patient throughput to support efficient clinical operations.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic unit environment and assist as needed.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and lead where required.
