Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Existing incumbents as of March 1, 2024 must obtain BSN within 3 years of this date.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse, State of CT.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Other certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical personnel and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations; supervise nursing and non-licensed staff.
• Manage resources, quality improvement, payroll, and colleague schedules; monitor patient throughput.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic unit environment and assist as needed.
• Support leadership in standards of excellence and professional development.
• Participate in Performance Improvement work in the assigned area.
