Job summary

Fisher-Titus seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead departmental operations, interpret policies, and guide staff in delivering high-quality nursing care. Collaboration with the department manager will drive problem resolution and daily management while upholding mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of four years of current clinical nursing experience in a hospital environment with demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and professional creativity.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Two years of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines standards of department nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices and develops processes to measure and ensure consistent compliance.
• Manages compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policy for patient services, environment, and personnel safety.
• Oversees performance improvement programs that monitor and evaluate critical aspects of care.
• Identifies real/potential problems affecting service and implements solutions with follow through.
• Participates in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees and communicates with stakeholders.
• Coaches staff by providing feedback and developing problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Manages the department's fiscal resources and ensures operational excellence.
