Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department at Baystate Medical Center. The ANM will collaborate with the Nurse Manager to support daily operations, ensure policy compliance, and translate the center's philosophy into action.

Required: MA RN license with ADN (BSN preferred), 3–5 years ED RN experience, and BLS/CPR certification. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour week and every-other weekend.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Current CPR/AED certification (BLS) required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with nurse manager to support and lead daily ED operations.

Baystate Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) works in partnership with the nurse manager to support and lead the daily operations of the unit. The ANM is expected to adhere to system and department compliance policies and any applicable laws and regulations. The ANM is expected to assume accountability and responsibility for translating the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the medical center/hospital and the nursing service into effective action under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Required Qualifications

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 3-5 years of RN experience in an emergency department setting

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$118,934.00 – $136,718.00 – $161,720.00
