Job summary

The incumbent will collaborate with leadership, ensure standards of excellence, and may lead Performance Improvement efforts while supporting staff development and scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• BSN in nursing. Existing incumbents as of March 1, 2024 must obtain BSN within 3 years of this date
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations including off shift and weekend supervision of nursing and non-licensed staff.
• Manage resources, payroll, schedules, and monitor patient throughput to ensure efficient clinical operations.
• Provide a safe and therapeutic unit environment and assist as needed as staff RN.
• Support leadership in standards of excellence and participate in Performance Improvement work.
