USPI New Mexico Surgery Center - Orthopaedics is seeking a RN PACU professional for a full-time position in Albuquerque, NM. The nurse will provide postoperative and post-anesthesia care, assess patient status on arrival to PACU, monitor for complications, and communicate with surgeons and anesthetists as needed.
The role requires nursing graduation from an approved program, an active state RN license, and BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications, with at least one year of intra-operative experience.

Performs nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post-anesthesia period, assessing and documenting patient’s status upon arrival in the PACU.
Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered, monitoring patient and informing surgeon or anesthetist of observed complications.
