Job summary

The RN Pre-op/PACU at USPI New Mexico Multispecialty Surgery Center delivers perioperative nursing care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.

This role provides safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for diverse populations, supporting orthopedics, ENT, general, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, pain, plastic, podiatry, and urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if center requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Support safe, patient-family centered care in the perioperative setting across multiple specialties.

Job Summary

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Required Skills

• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
