Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead nursing teams on the assigned shift, applying the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities. The ANM provides managerial presence and supports the unit director in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating services while ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BS, or BSN) is required.
Washington Registered Nurse License is required on hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required on hire.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift.
Provides managerial presence for all shifts and supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services.
Manages clinical and non-clinical caregivers and provides input for performance evaluations.
Ensures compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements; implements policies and clinical priorities.
Coaches, mentors and collaborates to deliver quality health care to patients.
