Summary

Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of the unit and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care delivery based on age-specific components. Coordinates care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• English Language Proficiency
• Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing, accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of completion.
• OR individuals in a master's level bridge program in nursing with coursework equivalent to a bachelor's degree, with opportunity to become registered prior to completion.
• OR graduates of foreign schools with current unrestricted registration, with degree validation if higher than an associate degree.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in the US.
• Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception: candidates without licensure may be appointed temporarily while pursuing licensure.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with 2-3 years experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager.
• Primary care/PACT experience preferred.
• Leadership or management experience.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
