Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of critical care ICU nursing experience required.
• Cardiac Surgical ICU experience.
• Maryland RN license and American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification required.
• PALS & ACLS within 6 months of hire, if applicable per unit requirements.

Hospital and Unit Summary: Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is a Level 2 Trauma Center and Critical Care Hospital that delivers top, innovative, compassionate healthcare to the Community of Baltimore.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is a 29-bed unit which cares for a wide variety of adult patients who are critically ill, including but not limited to neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, renal, gastrointestinal, genitourinary as well as endocrine and other conditions.

Seeking a Nurse Leader with Cardiac ICU, CICU experience to lead and strengthen our Cardiac Nursing Team, amongst Physicians and APP Partners.

JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Nurse Manager at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore serves in a supportive role to the Nurse Manager. This role has responsibility for daily coordination of resources to ensure quality service to all patients and their families, reflecting the mission, vision, and SPIRIT values of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and the Department of Patient Care Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, (BSN)
• 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience is preferred.
• 1-3 years of critical care (ICU) nursing experience required.
• Cardiac Surgical ICU experience.
• Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN), American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS) required
• PALS & ACLS within 6 months of hire, if applicable per the unit requirements
