Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach

Thiel College | NCAA Division III | Presidents' Athletic Conference

Thiel College is seeking a motivated, team-oriented, and servant-minded individual for the role of Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach. This coach will play a vital role in mentoring student-athletes, assisting with all aspects of team operations, and helping build a positive, competitive, and values-driven program.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of game and practice preparations.
• Mentor and monitor the student-athletes academic progress.
• Evaluate student-athletes academically and athletically.
• Follow all the rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA, PAC, and Thiel College.
• Recruit, retain, and graduate quality student-athletes for Thiel College and the athletic program.
• Assist in planning and implementing pre/post workout program.
• Assist with fundraising activities.
• Assist with community service planning and implementation.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Coach.
  
  

Applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Prior coaching and/or collegiate playing experience preferred.

Candidates must be self-motivated; possess strong communication skills; have solid organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills; The candidate must also strive for excellence and have pride in everything they do.

Successful candidates must adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules. Demonstrate professional behavior while operating with integrity.

This is a 10-month position with a modest monthly stipend/allowance. If still employed, will be paid for June and July. Includes meal plan during regular semesters, as well as 12-month housing, cell stipend, and athletic professional development class provided by the College.
