You will attend practices, games, league meetings, and away tournaments, including overnights, and work with the team president to arrange schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years coaching or playing experience with a competitive volleyball program, preferably in higher education.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities with a positive and productive playing environment.
• Experience teaching volleyball skills to players with varying skill levels.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups and strong interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR training is required.
• Must hold and maintain a valid US driver’s license with insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Be present during all practices and games, ensuring safety standards as defined by governing bodies and Bentley.
• Assist head coach with skill development and game strategy in practices and games.
• Attend required league meetings in coordination with the Head Coach.
• Schedule games in coordination with NECVL and Team President.
• Attend away games and post-season tournaments that may require overnight stays.
• Assist in creating and implementing in-game strategies and practice plans.
• Represent Bentley University and support team morale and recruitment efforts.
• Meet with Athletic Department staff on matters pertaining to Club Men’s Volleyball.
• Assist with information sessions, university events, and community outreach across the season.
