Job Description

The Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting,practice, organization, scheduling, trip organization, fundraising, alumnirelationsand summer camps.Responsibilities may also include intramural director, game management, marketing, advertising andpromotions,special events, weight room/fitness centerdirectorand Office of Admission recruiting.Responsibilitiesmay include budgeting andhiring,and supervision of student workers. Coaching andadministrative duties will be 75% of the assignment. The position includes teaching assignment of sixcredits (25%) that reflect the candidate’s degree, prior teachingexperienceand/or area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’sdegree
  • Collegiate basketball coaching experience
  • Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written skills
  • Understanding and appreciation for Liberal Arts Education
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in support ofuniversitymission to foster a global perspective
