Job summary

AMC Global Media is seeking an Assistant, Media Mgmt (Physical Storage) to join our Media Operations & Engineering team in Bethpage, NY. The role focuses on cataloging, researching, retrieving, and shipping items while maintaining multiple tape libraries and asset libraries.

You will update the B&T Library database, identify non‑owned material, and coordinate with third‑party storage facilities. Flexible hybrid work from home one day per week is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Experience in library tape formats and common file formats.
• Proficient with MS Office, Numbers, Pages, LibreOffice and BBEdit.

Responsibilities

• Catalog, research, retrieve, and ship items.
• Assist in managing collections (B&T Air Masters, 11 Penn tape library masters, show elements, IFCE Asset Library, MSG Tape Records Library).
• Monitor and update the B&T Library database to ensure items are searchable.
• Update data to identify non-AMCN owned material for Weeding the collection.
• Pull Library materials as needed and arrange shipping to/from the facility.
• Coordinate materials with 3rd party storage facilities (Iron Mountain, Fotokem, etc.).
