Job summary

Warner Music Group in New York seeks a Marketing Assistant to support the Pop/Dance Marketing Team through administrative and creative tasks, gaining exposure to all aspects of the recorded music business.

You will help coordinate calendars, assist in developing marketing ideas, and create promotional tools while handling assets, events, email blasts, and expense reports to keep campaigns running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive self-starter, highly motivated, and organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Mailchimp.
  • Strong computer and data-analysis skills, able to analyze data from digital service providers.
  • Pulse on trendy and culturally relevant music and tech.

  • Submit and manage expense reports and invoices to ensure timely payments.
  • Update artist one‑sheets and marketing documents regularly.

This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. We value in‑office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships.

Salary Range: $19.23 to $20.51 per hour. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as work experience and business needs, and may change over time.
