Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh. You will cut, weigh, package, and label products, while promoting great customer service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coaching team members, reviewing sales data, and maintaining proper inventory. You will work in a retail store environment with frequent exposure to cold and sharp tools, upholding quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age; 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.
• High school Diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• Experience as a meatcutter or manager trainee preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh.
• Cut, weigh, package, and label products.
• Train and develop partners; schedule, plan, direct work.
• Review sales data, ads and promotions; manage inventory to ensure in-stock levels.
• Ensure safety, quality, and proper labeling of products.
