WHBM in Wayne, NJ is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a personalized, hospitality-driven customer experience. You will help develop associates, drive sales, and ensure seamless omni-channel operations in a fashion-forward environment.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

You'll bring to the role

• Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
