Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee on a part-time basis in Chino, CA. The program guides you toward higher management through a defined training path and hands-on responsibilities within a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with store operations, merchandising, and developing both sales and leadership skills for future advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Flexible scheduling for a fast-paced environment.
• Upon hire, candidate will be subject to E-Verify.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the store.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales.
• Merchandising and compliance with company policies.
• Setting promotional signage and stocking shelves.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Train newly hired associates and supervise sales staff.
• Inventory control and loss-prevention enforcement.
