For over 60 years, we have prioritized hiring talented individuals. Manager Trainees gain knowledge and experience necessary for promotion to management under the guidance of experienced personnel. Responsibilities are performed personally or through subordinates. Joining Big 5 offers a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities. Responsibilities include customer sales and service, directing customers, answering phones, product descriptions, proposing add-on sales, retrieving merchandise, cleaning, restocking, and organizing the sales floor. This entry-level role is designed to be transitory, typically lasting 6-18 months before promotion, supported by a structured training program aimed at management development. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded, with strong customer service backgrounds or relevant educational pathways. Enthusiasm for our products is essential. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Pay Scale: $18.56 per hour
