Job summary

SafeSplash Alexandria (Kingstowne) is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the location owner to implement policies within the Streamline Brands structure. You will recruit, hire, orient, schedule, and train staff while upholding high customer service and retail standards.

You will manage inventory, orders, payroll, and benefits with a focus on growth and team development. Evening and weekend availability is required; lifeguard certification and iClassPro experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience in customer service.
• Lifeguard certification required.
• Experience using iClassPro.
• Team-driven leader who cares about staff.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work with the location owner to set up and maintain policies within the Streamline Brands structure.

What will you do as an Assistant Manager?

• Work closely with the location owner to set up and maintain location policies and procedures within the Streamline Brands Franchise structure
• Maintain staff by recruiting, hiring, orienting, scheduling, and training employees
• Maintain quality customer service by enforcing high customer service standards amongst all employees
• Manage employee policies and procedures, payroll, and employee benefits
• Responsible for location retail including managing inventory levels, ordering, and sales

What are we looking for in an Assistant Manager?

• 2 years of management experience in customer service
• Lifeguard certified
• Experience using iClassPro
• A Team-driven leader: cares about staff and leads with the intent to build up the whole team
• Flexible schedule: will be required to work some evenings and weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Swim Lesson and/or competitive swimming experience: knowledge of the four basic strokes, teaching curriculum, and stroke progression

Certifications:

• Current Red Cross Lifeguard or equivalent
• WSI - Water Safety Instructor certification, a big plus
• CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for Adult, Child certification
• Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor certified
