Job summary

Ziggi’s Coffee is seeking an Assistant Manager to help craft an exceptional guest experience and lead team members. Working with the General Manager, you’ll uphold operational excellence and staff development, balancing accountability with a growth-oriented store culture.

You will lead by example, manage daily operations, and support training and onboarding to elevate service standards. You’ll help maintain a safe, inclusive work environment, communicate with leadership, and handle shift

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of leadership experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar fast-paced setting.
• Strong grasp of daily store operations, drink quality standards, and service fundamentals.
• Able to lead by example, give and receive feedback, and step into any role as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven reliability and ability to take initiative without supervision.
• Completion of required training modules and a strong understanding of brand values.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to lead the team and maintain day-to-day operations.
• Support new hire onboarding, hands-on training, and continual team development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment that prioritizes guest experience and team well-being.
• Communicate consistently and clearly with the General Manager, store owners, and team members.
• Execute administrative duties including ordering inventory, preparing deposits, and entering invoices.
• Assist in upholding health, safety, and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Step into leadership during GM absences and serve as a reliable decision-maker on shift.
