Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Minnesota to lead our sales team and deliver great customer experiences in a fast-paced store.

You will help recruit, hire, train, and coach staff while managing daily operations and ensuring excellent merchandising and customer service. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and hands-on sales with opportunities for growth within the company; a strong work ethic and reliability are essential for success in our dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and have personal transportation.
• Willing to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store, sometimes alone.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales, take cash, run cards, apply discounts.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep store neat and clean.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
• Assist with coaching and discipline of the sales team.
• Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposits and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.
