Job summary

Leslie’s is hiring an Assistant Manager (AM) in Danvers, MA to support store performance and ensure customer service standards, sales plans, and profitability. This role requires leadership to train and develop the team while exemplifying excellent service and adherence to store procedures.

You will learn best practices for merchandising, safety compliance, and daily operations, with opportunities for growth, compensation, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and profitability.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Opening and closing store responsibilities, including daily bank deposits.
