Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 3854 in Mayo, SC. This full-time role requires open weekend/holiday availability and the ability to work second or third shifts.

You will support store operations, lead a team, and drive customer service and sales initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment. The position offers weekly pay, a potential monthly bonus, 401(k), paid time off, comprehensive insurance, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Physical tasks include cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining pumps.
• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Willingness to learn and grow in retail leadership.
• Food Safety Certification held or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
