GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 3224 in Myrtle Beach. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Open availability, weekend/holiday shifts, and a customer-focused mindset are essential. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced retail environment at Scotchman.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain one.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team for upselling promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to excel.
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do:

• Help hire, train, and lead a high‑performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification
