Responsibilities

• Operate store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Increase sales performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the store.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Direct sales and cashier associates throughout the store.
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales.
• Merchandising and compliance with company policies.
• Set promotional signage.
• Retrieve merchandise from stockroom as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
• Direct oversight of footwear and advertising programs, and other departments.
• Open and close the store.
• Train newly hired associates.
• Develop future management candidates.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
• Assist in writing a weekly store schedule.
• Inventory control and loss prevention enforcement.
• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
