Job summary

QuikTrip in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Manager to support store operations. You will deliver excellent customer service, reinforce standards, and help create a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the door.

Under the guidance of the Store Manager and fellow assistants, you will promote teamwork, train clerks on your shift, and contribute to a high-performing environment through hands-on leadership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail store sales experience desired.
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with customers, vendors, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: Own the customer experience by anticipating needs, solving problems, and consistently representing company standards.
• Employee support / teamwork: Mentor peers, resolve conflicts constructively, and model professional behavior.
• Store appearance: Maintain a welcoming customer-facing environment and guide peers in daily upkeep.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Desired Experience:Retail store sales experience

Desired Skills: Pleasant disposition; patience to deal with difficult situations; self‑motivated, and the ability to work unsupervised. Must be able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with customers, vendors, and employees.

Schedule / Work / Travel

Work Pattern: Shift work; may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays (essential personnel during weather/events).

Physical / Environment: Requires standing for extended periods and routine walking.

Requires lifting up to 30-60 lbs

May work in cold/freezer areas or outdoors at times.
