Job summary

VENU+ in Idlewild, PA is seeking a Seasonal Venue Supervisor to build strong relationships with venue clients and oversee daily front-line operations. You will schedule staff, coach the team on guest service and upselling, and ensure accurate reporting while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the site.

This role requires a high school diploma and 1+ years leadership in customer-focused settings, with flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in theme park, hospitality, retail management or another environment with a strong customer focus background.
• Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate/mentor, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive way.
• Professional, energetic, and positive attitude with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze results, plan, make good decisions, and take responsibility.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of computers and applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Reliable transportation for travel within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive and successful relations with venue B2B clients.
• Ensure proper staff scheduling are being completed and communicated on-time.
• Champion exceptional guest service and persuasive upselling tactics with front line staff.
• Manage complete and accurate reporting according to company policies and procedures.
• Analyze daily sales activity and reports, creating action plans for continued growth for site.
• Coach and develop staff in both proper photo capture techniques and upselling sales tactics.
• Ensure staff follow venue safety rules and are working in a safe manner as per policy standards.
• Foster a constructive and collaborative atmosphere while upholding our fundamental values and policies.
• Maintain/oversee site cleanliness, employee uniform, and guest service delivery exceed company and location standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment, by reporting dangerous/suspicious items or persons to venue management.
• Protect company confidential data and ensure secure areas are always locked, this includes company computers containing sensitive data, safes and filing cabinets.
• Assist with all functions within a photo location in compliance with VENU+ policies and procedures.
• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
