Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Fitzgerald, GA to support daily store operations and leadership. You will assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling while upholding company policies and standards.

You will be knowledgeable about all product areas, ensure superior customer service, and step in as acting Store Manager when required. 1–3 years of customer service experience is preferred in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbitt I City Gear.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Take responsibility for store operations in Store Manager’s absence.
• Assist in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure departmental responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual.
