Job summary

Holiday Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for West Jordan to support daily operations, lead the team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will help manage staff, inventory, and store compliance in a fast-paced convenience-store environment.

The role requires leadership ability, strong work ethic, and a focus on safety and efficiency across all shifts, including Sundays. Prior retail and training experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Training experience preferred.
• Capable of opening/closing stores on a Sunday-Saturday schedule.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
