Job summary

Flynn Group is seeking an Applebee's Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and energize both guests and staff about their experience. You will lead the team, solve problems, and manage tasks with a strong focus on service quality and efficiency.

You will drive staff development, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and ensure adherence to company policies while supporting financial controls and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Certifications also a plus.
• Must be willing to work varying shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit.
• Cultivates a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of our core values and beliefs.
• Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff.
• Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards.
• Maintains departmental inventory levels.
• Maintains product preparation and presentation meeting company standards by performing line checks.
• Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands.
• Maintains effective safety and security programs.
• Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs routine maintenance and immediately reports needed repairs to the General Manager/Area Director.
• Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates.
• Promotes Flynn | Applebee's training procedures for new managers.
