Job summary

Mr. Magic Car Wash is hiring an Assistant Manager to run daily operations, mentor a team, and drive membership sales in Pittsburgh.

You will support the Site Manager, coach attendants, and ensure top-tier customer service while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in supervisory roles and customer-facing sales experience, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of team leader and/or supervisory/management experience.
• 1+ years of customer-facing sales or sales management experience.
• Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support site operations: assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations including staff scheduling, customer service, equipment maintenance, inventory management and financial performance.
• Lead and motivate: supervise and coach a team of car wash attendants to ensure exceptional service, professionalism, and compliance with policies; step in as shift leader when needed.
• Drive membership sales: actively promote membership programs, coach team on sales techniques, contribute to sales goals.
• Train and develop: participate in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Deliver exceptional customer service: handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure a great experience.
• Maintain a safe and organized site: monitor equipment, ensure health/safety compliance, manage supplies, keep site clean.
• Collaborate with leadership: partner with Site Manager and District Manager on planning and improvements; analyze dashboards and metrics.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a safe and organized site: Monitor and maintain equipment; ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; manage supplies and chemicals; and keep the site clean and well organized.
• Collaborate with leadership: Partner with the Site Manager and District Manager on site planning, promotional activities, and operational improvements. Analyze sales dashboards and operational metrics to inform decisions.

• Physically able to stand, bend, walk, and lift at least 20lbs throughout your shift.
