American Honda Finance Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager of Modeling in Torrance, CA, to lead the Modeling Teams and govern Credit Loss Allowances and Residual Value Loss Reserves under US GAAP and IFRS. The role requires oversight of modeling methodologies, assumptions, and reserve analyses, with communication to management, Japan staff, auditors, and executive committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance or a related field.
• CFA, CPA, CMA or MBA are preferred certifications.
• Experience in supervisory roles and modeling for credit loss advisable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Modeling teams and govern Credit Loss Allowances and Residual Value Loss Reserves.
• Oversee modeling methodologies, assumptions, and reserve analyses.
• Communicate results to management, auditors, and executives; support financial reporting and forecasting.
• Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet analyses.
