Job summary

Georgia Ports Authority in Garden City Terminal is seeking an Assistant Manager-Maintenance Administration to support maintenance parts inventory, work orders, and cost reporting under the Administrative Manager of Maintenance/Cranes. The role collaborates with IT, Finance and Purchasing to resolve issues, maintain inventories, and generate periodic reports.

Applicants should have 1–3 years related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience; management experience preferred.
• TWIC and valid driver's license required upon hire.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP software is preferred.
• Strong data reporting and inventory control skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance managers with daily storeroom activities.
• Oversee inventory operations at all GPA storerooms.
• Maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels and records.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Purchasing on maintenance issues.
• Ensure safe, organized storeroom and maintained tools.
