Job summary

Greyhound Lines, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Maintenance to coordinate repair, preventive maintenance and cleaning across our fleet. You’ll lead maintenance staff, train and mentor teams, and ensure safety policies are followed while maintaining on-time service.

The role requires a mechanical background, strong problem-solving, and a proven ability to manage shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in automotive, trucking, or bus maintenance.
• Mechanical background with hands-on maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to do shift work including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving and real-time decision-making abilities.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize repair orders to meet schedules while ensuring safe, clean buses.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize repair orders and operational demands to ensure safe, clean, reliable and efficient buses that meet their schedules and exceeds customer expectations
• Coordinate the repair, preventive maintenance, cleaning, inspection, bodywork, and all related functions of coaches and equipment
• Develop employees by training, mentoring, encouraging, and rewarding performance
• Ensure proper safety policies and procedures are in place and followed.
• Eliminate all hazardous working conditions
• Lead employees to achieve goals and objectives
• Ability to be able to work independently and cooperatively with team members
• Ability to be an active listener with excellent communication skills
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation Range: USD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
