Job summary

Metro Pubs in Red Lion is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the busy pub management team. You will help run daily operations, lead by example, and ensure customers and teams have a great time.

You’ll bring passion for delivering excellent experiences, strong people skills, and the ability to adapt on a busy shift, all while maintaining high standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality leadership and managing a busy pub.
• Ability to train and develop team members to uphold brand standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership to deliver great customer experiences.
• Maintain safety, allergen controls, and high operational standards.
• Fluent spoken and written English for role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business.
• Lead the team in the absence of the GM and deliver amazing customer experiences.
• Act as a role model for the team and support training and development.
• Champion brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
