Vail Resorts is hiring for a Lift Experience Assistant Manager (M1) to lead Lift Leads and Operators, oversee daily lift operations, and manage staffing, training, and safety compliance at winter resorts.
The role reports to Mountain Operations and includes labor planning, budgeting support, and development of high-performing teams in a guest-focused environment.

The Lift Experience Assistant Manager (M1) is responsible for the scheduling, training, supervision, and development of Lift Experience Leads and Lift Operators. Reporting directly to the Manager of Mountain Operations, this position oversees daily lift operations, ensures proper staffing levels, and leads all department training and onboarding programs. The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in hiring, coaching, employee performance management, safety compliance, and guest service standards while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture. This role also assists with labor management, budgeting, inventory oversight, and departmental planning to support safe and efficient resort operations.
The expected pay range is $25.00- $32.14. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
